Snowboard..ing . . . .. is a winter sport that involves descending a snow-covered slope while standing on a snowboard attached to an athlete's feet, using a special boot set into a mounted bindings.
Snowboarding
The first mentions of using a board to skate through the snow date back to the beginning of the 20th century. However, the sport of Snowboarding was primarily developed in North America in the 1960s to 1970s. It has become popular in Germany, Austria, France, Switzerland and Scandinavian countries.

Snowboarding........... is an intense aerobic sport that can improve an athlete's endurance, strengthen the respiratory and cardiovascular systems, and improve physical coordination.
